Do you have what it takes to be an e-entrepreneur?
Copyright © Stone Evans, The Home Biz Guy
Author of "Dotcomology - The Science of Making Money Online"

These days, it seems like everyone wants to work
from home and make money on the Internet. But
before you even turn on your computer, the first
question you have to ask yourself is whether
you’re cut out for this kind of work.

The fact is, building a home-based business isn’t
for everyone. Some people like the commute. They
really do enjoy having a boss who tells them what
to do, and they like the routine of working
nine-to-five for an ordinary salary that can
barely pay the mortgage. Personally, I think
they’re nuts.

More reasonably, there are people who are
concerned about the risk of starting up their own
business. They’re not sure it’s worth the
investment of time and money, and they’re scared
of the responsibility that comes with running
their own company. They wonder if there is
another way to escape the rat race.

I’m sure there is. You could win the lottery or
wait for your Aunt Sue to keel over and leave you
her condo. Or maybe you could sit down with a pen
and paper and draw the blueprint for "The Next
Big Thing". Anything can happen... Right?

For me, what happened was creating a successful,
self-running Internet marketing system. It didn’t
happen without effort. It didn’t happen without
at least some initial investment of both time and
money and, of course, it doesn’t happen now
without me making sure that the taxes are filed
and the paperwork is done. But it happened.

I’m my own boss. I work from home according to my
own schedule and I get to pocket all the cash my
business makes. If you’re prepared to give an
e-business the time, the work and the money it
needs to get started and get growing, it can
happen for you too.

It's Time to Unite

It's Time to Unite

God has a plan. God's plans cannot be changed. The route to get to the end result can and may change based upon our choices. That’s called free will. You are free to believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit or not to believe. Hebrews 3:16

Every act must be judged and punished or rewarded. God is the jury, judge, and executioner. Jesus is your Lawyer, and the Holy Spirit is the person sitting right behind you when your trial is going on. You can hear the Holy Spirit guide you and comfort you during your trial dates. At the same time you can see Jesus pleading your case to the Judge and Jury. God, who knows all, sees all, and created all, is the perfect and only righteous judge of good and evil. There is no gray area in the interpretation of the laws. You obeyed, or you sinned. When you obey you are rewarded, likewise when you disobey you will be disciplined. This court is not like other courts. There is only one way to appeal the decision and that is through your Lawyer Jesus. He can speak to the Judge (God) on your behalf even in the inner chambers of God's courtroom. He sits at the Judge's right hand. Hebrews 4:12-13

God knows everything, and everyone. He knew you when he said, "Let there be Light." and there it was. He is the Creator. He knows every nook and cranny of your being. He made the design and built it himself. He designed you, the Earth, and its fullness thereof, nothing can be hidden. He loved you long before anyone knew you existed. God is Good. Free will is good, for God said it was good when he created man. Free will has its side effects. It's called sin. When free will is taken improperly without following the instructions laid out by God, its side effects will always happen. Sin will be there. The Good News is God has made an antidote; it's called Jesus Christ. Here's God's instructions written on the label. Take with prayer, as needed and wanted throughout the day in large quantities. Take as much as you like. Known side effects are: happiness, Joy, life more abundantly, salvation, no more pain, no more suffering, no more worrying, no more uncomfort, no more poverty, increased hope, and greater relaxation. Jesus taken with prayer can clean your sin out of the Judge's books. Hebrews 2:1-4

All this was in God's plan from the beginning, and God's plan is good. There's a war in Heaven. Some angels are jealous of free will. Angels do not possess it. God wants to train us to use our free will and choose to worship and obey him. Not like the Angels who have no choice but to obey. Hell was not made for humans but, God in his great glory and wisdom chose hell to send Satan his followers to due to their choice not to obey God and continue to live in sin, in opposition of the Creator. Hebrews 4:1-7

God is waiting until all humanity is united on one side or the other. He is sorting us out in the end times. He is waiting until the number that only he knows has been reached. The number of the humans tested and shown to be of God or of Satan. Your time here on earth is a test. God has given you the answers to the test in his word. If you don't get it, Jesus has the cliff notes. If you still need help to pass the test, your pastor and fellow believers are there for you to copy off of. There is no excuse not to pass this test, unless you were not chosen to take it in the first place. There is no grading curve. It's a pray or no play situation. Hebrews 5:11-14

Your faith should rest on these facts. No one can change what God says will happen. If you obey God and Believe his son, Jesus Christ, is real and rose from the dead, you will pass. God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Pastors, Ministers, and fellow believers have all got the answers. All you have to do is get your mind on God and he'll put the answers in your mind. Free will has to be contained, constrained, and maintained. The only person able to do so is God. Only with God in your spiritual walk can you overcome the free will abuse your flesh longs for. Take heed. Hebrews 7:20-28

Jesus is coming on court day to get every one who has been tested to stand before the Judge and give account of their actions and thoughts. No one is exempt. Get to know Lawyer Jesus personally. Get the answers to how to pass God's test through him. So when court day comes, Jesus can speak to God on your behalf. Everyone is going to have Jesus at his or her trial. If Jesus doesn't know you, how will he be able to defend you and write your name in the book of life? Test time is almost over. Have you got the questions answered correctly?

We need to unite like the very first Christian church Jesus established through his Apostles. Every one was on one accord. Meaning every one was thinking with the same goal in mind: Giving God the praise, honor and glory, and obeying Jesus’ teachings. Jesus wants us to pray for one another, support one another and love God with all your being. God is love. Loving God will do everything to set you up to obey without any effort. Sin and temptation will always be a factor but you can overcome with God. Jesus’ commandments to his church were love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as your self. This means to love God. Place no one above him. Do for everyone you meet, as you would do for yourself. No matter what the circumstance. When we can get to this point in our selves, homes, and churches, we will begin to see the glory of God as the disciples saw it. Our generation has become diluted and are not praying and acting, as God wants us to do in our everyday lives. There's no time now to do a good thing for trying to get home to watch TV, play a game, sit at home, get to work. God wants you to put caring for your brothers and sisters in Christ above all other things in your life except Loving Him. Let's get united, Build our Christian walk on Christ and his teachings so we may see God in all his glory and receive our spiritual power that is there for the taking. You can only take it though with obedience to God the Creator. Amen.

End Cliff Notes

Answers To The Test (References)

Hebrews 3:16

16Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert? 18And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.

Hebrews 4:12-13

12For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Hebrews 2: 1-4

We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

Hebrews 4:1-7

1Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith. 3Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,
"So I declared on oath in my anger,
'They shall never enter my rest.' " And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world. 4For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: "And on the seventh day God rested from all his work." 5And again in the passage above he says, "They shall never enter my rest."
6It still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience. 7Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before:
"Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts."

Hebrews 5:11-14

11We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. 12In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Hebrews 7:20-28

20And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, 21but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
"The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
'You are a priest forever.' " 22Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
23Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
26Such a high priest meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. 27Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. 28For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

Advertising Your Home Business on a Budget

Brought to you by www.BrownsBlessing.com

Advertising Your Home Business on a Budget
Copyright © Stone Evans, The Home Biz Guy
http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-10556

When you are starting out in a new home business
and no one knows who you are, one of the greatest
challenges you will face is how to drum up new
business.

If there were not people in your community or
marketplace that you knew who needed your
products or services, you probably would not have
started your business to begin with. But, once
you have talked to those who you personally knew
who needed your what you offer, then your next
task is to find others who will help keep your
doors open.

Many people know that they must turn to
advertising at some point in the future, but they
hope that day will be long down the road. For
some, this utopian concept will come to fruition.
But for the rest of us in the real world, we must
come up with creative solutions for meeting our
home business advertising needs while working
within our budget.

Most people have a misconception about having to
spend lots of money in order to advertise their
home business. When you start out, you honestly
will not have much money available for
advertising, and if you do, you should still
spend it wisely.

Before you jump headfirst into the world of
advertising, let me share some of the lessons I
have learned concerning this most important topic.

LESSON #1

It does not have to cost an arm and a leg to
advertise your home business, unless you fail to
plan and fail to test.

As much as is possible, you should always test
your advertising. If you jump in and start
dumping tons of money in to advertising without
first testing your advertising, you might find
yourself broke and without sales at the end of
the road. Most people who commit this error write
off their failure on the home business they chose
or the economy or any of a hundred other excuses.
But, if they are unwilling to take responsibility
for their mistake, they will never learn from
their mistake. Don't let this be you.

LESSON #2

All testing should be done in blocks. If you
begin to advertise simultaneously in newspapers,
radio and television, how will you know which
advertising is bringing people to your cash
register? You won't. All you will know that
something might be working, but you will not know
what is actually doing the trick.

Even if you tell people in your advertising to
tell you how they found you, my experience shows
that fewer than 10% of the people ever will tell
you anything --- and those people who do may not
even get the facts straight! You cannot rely on
your customers to tell you what advertising is
working for your home business. You must put in
the extra effort to know for yourself.

LESSON #3

Only when you have a proven and solid advertising
portfolio should you venture to drop big bucks in
an advertising campaign. Even then, you should be
careful to keep further measurements to determine
how much the maximum advantage of an ad would be.
Sometimes you might be able to reach ten times as
many people, but depending on the kind of media
and other factors, the additional exposure will
only generate twice as many sales. Keep your eye
attuned to situations like this to get the most
from your advertising dollars.

LESSON #4

As Lesson #3 illustrates, sometimes your best
advertising investment may actually cost you less
money. When you are first starting out, whether
you are running a home business or a business
outside of your home, you need to be able to get
people talking and thinking about your business.

If you are busy testing ads in media's such as
the newspaper, magazines, radio, and television,
you need to learn ways of promoting your business
that do not require large cash expenditures. A
few examples are:

· Word of Mouth
· Business Cards
· Press Releases
· Non-Primetime Ads on Radio and Television

Here is more information about each type of
low-cost advertising:

WORD OF MOUTH

This of course is the cheapest kind of
advertising on the planet --- it does not cost
you anything. Ask your customers if they know
anyone who could also use your products or
services. When they are happy with your offerings
and service, they will be willing to tell you
whom you can contact, and they will pass the
word for you.

BUSINESS CARDS

You can usually pick up 500 business cards for
about $20. When you do, hand them out. Do not
give more than a couple of cards to each person.
If they need more cards from you, they will ask.

Some people are known to network with others on a
regular basis. Some of these people are also
known to be always looking for an extra few
bucks. With these people, you can suggest to them
that if they write their name on the back of one
of your business cards and the card is presented
to you, then you will pay a referral fee to them.
You do not have to offer much --- sometimes one
dollar is enough. Look at your home business and
your offerings and decide how much would be a
good referral fee.

PRESS RELEASES

Press Releases are a good source for generating
news about your home business. The business
editor at your local newspaper is always on the
lookout for a good business story to fill the
business news section of the newspaper.

Of course, the business editor understands the
economics of running a paper and is more inclined
to run your story if you buy advertising in
his/her publication, but will still print
stories for special events and openings.

The important thing to remember about Press
Releases is that it must be constructed in the
form of a news story. Even if you are a sole
proprietorship, quotes from you should be written
in a third person format: John Doe said, "Your
quote here."

A Press Release should pack the most important
information at the beginning of the copy, and
leave extra details towards the end.

You should always provide the reporter who gets
the task a simple and easy way for him/her to
contact you directly. Often the reporter will
want to contact you to get details that will
enhance their take on your story.

NON-PRIMETIME ADS ON RADIO AND TELEVISION

Believe it or not, some of the best rates for
radio and television are on the overnight and
non-primetime venues. These target times are not
a total waste as they can easily keep the
infomercial people in business.

These off-hours are just less populated than the
primetime hours.

Don't be afraid to check your local radio and
television rates for non-primetime hours to see
what bargains may exist. With television,
primetime is 7pm to 10pm. With radio, primetime is
8am to 5pm. This sure leaves a whole lot of hours
available to advertise your home business at
discount rates!

IN CONCLUSION

When it comes down to it, there is a lot to
understand about advertising, but when you have
the basic knowledge down pat, everything will
fall into place and bring more dollars to your
bank account.
